The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Prayer Ministries in Western Ethiopian union Mission is to glorify God and under the direction of the Holy Spirit, lead every member to understand the ministry of prayer and to experience a personal transforming relationship with Jesus Christ through consistent prayer life, thus enabling the believer to become a disciple in ministering the gospel through Prayer outreach and keeping everyone in readiness for the second coming of Jesus.
- To awaken a sense of our need to have prayer as a central daily experience.
- To motivate members to practice prayerful life each moment of their existence this will enhance deeper relationship with Jesus and with one another.
- To help the church to be more intentional about prayer and to have more members actively involved in intercessory prayers for others.
